Protecting Pets and People: Vet Times Spotlights Our £70,000 Grant to The Links Group

We’re proud to announce a £70,000 grant to The Links Group to support the redevelopment and expansion of their vital training programme on the link between animal abuse and domestic abuse.

This funding will help The Links Group reach more professionals across veterinary, healthcare, and social services—equipping them with the knowledge and tools to identify and respond to abuse more effectively. By strengthening this crucial training, we’re helping to protect both people and pets from harm.

Paula Boyden, Links Group Chair said: “We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Pets Foundation which has made development of this course possible. It is only by raising awareness and collaborative working that we can better protect animals and humans in homes where domestic abuse occurs.”
