Oldham Cats

Oldham Cats suffered every rescue’s nightmare in 2018, when an outbreak of a rare but serious infectious illness broke out among their cats and kittens. The event caused the rescue to temporarily close its doors until it could rebuild. Thanks to a grant of £43,707 from Pets Foundation, the rescue was able to do just that, reopening just a few months later. The funds were used by the rescue to completely transform their cat intake, isolation and rehoming areas.  The new units are more modern, easier to clean, and a much nicer environment for the cats and the volunteers who care for them.
