We love sharing the impact our grants have on animals of all sizes 🥰

Last May, Marias Animal Shelter Probus, Registered Charity in Probus, Cornwall, was awarded £5,000 towards their vet bills and food costs.

The shelter specialises in the rescue and rehoming of small pets.

The grant has helped approximately 80 animals, such as this cutie, Iris, who came to the shelter after her owner could no longer care for her.

She needed nail treatment and had an ovarian cyst, which they treated thanks to the grant.

Here she is, enjoying some fresh grass as she recovers!

Brilliant such a lovely Caring Animal Shelter well deserved Maria

Just wrapped up an amazing two days at the Association of Dogs & Cats Homes conference!

We met so many incredible rescue organisations and some familiar faces from the wider animal rescue community.

It was such an informative event, and we had a blast learning more about the work of the member organisations and ways we can better help animals in need.

Huge thanks to the ADCH for organising this event, and to everyone who came to our stand and had a chat! #ADCHconference

As it's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we're shining a spotlight on the great work of TheHorseCourse 🙌

Based in Devon, the charity provides equine therapy to children and adults referred by social workers, mental health services, and education professionals.

In 2022, we awarded them a grant of 110K spread over three years to fund the cost of an equine therapy facilitator, Emma.

Emma has supported nearly 80 clients to date, and the results have shown improved behaviour, better engagement with peers and support workers, and improved engagement with education.

We're amazed at the impact equine-assisted interventions have on people's mental health.
