We’re proud to once again launch our Summer Appeal in partnership with Blue Cross. The appeal helps provide vital support for pets and the people who love them.
Building on last year’s success
Last year’s Blue Cross Pet Food Bank Appeal was a huge success thanks to the incredible generosity of Pets at Home colleagues and customers. Together, you helped raise more than £350,000. As a result, even more pets and families received support when they needed it the most.
Now, for the third year running, we’ve joined forces with Blue Cross to help keep pets where they belong: with the families who love them.
Through its pet food banks and support services, Blue Cross helps families facing hardship care for their pets. This year’s appeal provides essential food and support. Importantly, it will help keep pets with the families who love them.
New ways to support pets in need
Running from 10 August to 31 August, this year’s appeal offers new ways to make a difference. Shoppers can purchase specially created pet food parcels for cats and dogs. Each parcel is packed with essential food and treats for pets in need.
In addition, customers can support the appeal by donating in-store and online via our dedicated fundraising page from 10 August. Every contribution will help Blue Cross continue supporting vulnerable pets and their owners.
What’s more, a range of colourful Blue Cross socks featuring dogs, cats and guinea pigs will also be available to purchase throughout the appeal. Socks can be bought in-store and through our online shop.
How you can get involved
Every pet food parcel purchased in-store helps Blue Cross provide essential food to pets in need. As a result, this support will help pets stay healthy, well cared for and with the people who love them.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support our colleagues and customers have shown over the past two years. We can’t wait to see the difference we can make together again this summer.
